Created for the Northwest String Summit in 2015, the Land Whale is a 21' long humpback whale puppet. Controlled by seven puppeteers, the Land Whale features articulated flippers, tail, and jaw. The plan is to turn the Land Whale into a kinetic sculpture where by moving some pedals, anyone can make the giant creature come to life.
